Using the Security Widget
View, arm, and manage your Wondrwall motion sensors and siren from one place in the app.
Introduction
The Security Widget in the Wondrwall app allows you to view and manage your home’s security devices from one central location, giving you an instant overview and quick access to essential controls. From here, you can see which rooms (zones) are armed, arm or disarm motion sensors and the Wondrwall Siren, change your home’s security mode (Scene), and respond quickly to alerts, ensuring your home remains protected at all times.
Accessing Your Security Widget
Here is an image of the Wondrwall app’s home screen when you are logged into your home. The highlighted box displays your Security Widget. This widget shows the number of armed zones and allows you to access your Security Overview Screen.
Steps:
-
Open the Wondrwall app. If you are logged into your home system, you will be auto-directed to the home screen. Here you will see a grid of different widgets, each controlling a different part of your Wondrwall system.
-
Tap the Security Widget on the Wondrwall app homepage.
-
You will now see your Security Overview Screen.
Note: Some widgets on the Wondrwall home screen may be greyed out. This means you do not currently have any of the associated Wondrwall devices paired.

Steps:
- On the Wondrwall app homepage, slide up the Current Scene Bar
- Tap Scene Behaviours
- Here you will see a list of your light switches, and the current settings of:
- Lighting: Switches the light on or off when in a specific scene
- Arm Zone: This will switch on the motion sensors for a specific room, and will alert you via a notification if it is triggered
- Simulate Occupancy: will periodically turn the lights on and off, simulating someone being present, acting as a deterrent
- You can adjust the behaviour of each scene by selecting from Sleep, Home, Away and Holiday from the bars above
This system gives you full control of how you would like your home to behave when you are home, away or asleep, keeping your home as protected as you need it to be

Example Scene Behaviour Ideas
Here are some suggestions for scene behaviours, you could copy or use as a foundation to help customise your home:
- For when you are asleep: If you have a home with multiple floors, and you sleep upstairs, you can arm the light switches on the ground floor so if someone enters this space, you will be alerted, while still being able to move around on the other floor(s)
- For when you are on holiday: If no one is scheduled to be in your home for a long period, switch Simulate Occupancy on for the most used rooms in your home (kitchen, living room, master bedroom, etc), making it seem that someone is home, acting as a deterrent. You can also do this for when you are away if you wish.
