This clean energy is then transformed into AC electrical energy by the home’s hybrid inverter. The result? A sustainable power source that fuels your home. #### **Storage** The heart of your net zero home is the **battery**. This smart battery stores any surplus solar energy generated by the PV array. When your home’s energy demand exceeds what the PV panels produce, the battery steps in, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply. Additionally, the battery can be charged from the grid using the AC inverter, especially if you’re on an Off-Peak tariff.
