The Wondrwall Infrared Panel is a slim, wall or ceiling mounted heater designed to keep individual rooms warm in a smart and energy-efficient way. It blends into your home and works with your Wondrwall system to heat rooms only when needed, helping you save energy without compromising on comfort.

How the Wondrwall Infrared Panel Works

The Wondrwall Infrared Panel emits safe infrared radiant heat. Rather than warming the air in a room (which can quickly rise or escape through draughts), infrared panels warm the solid objects and people in the space. These surfaces then gently release warmth back into the room over time.

This method creates a more even and consistent warmth throughout the space, making it feel cosy faster without having to rely on prolonged heating. It’s also completely silent and doesn’t stir up dust, which can be helpful for allergy-sensitive households.

Infrared panels use less energy to produce the same level of warmth as traditional convection heaters. Because they heat surfaces and not air, you can feel comfortably warm at a lower air temperature, which reduces your overall energy consumption.

When paired with devices like the Wondrwall Infrared Panel, the Wondrwall system can deliver zoned heating, warming only the rooms you’re using. Combined with intelligent scheduling and dynamic tariff optimisation, it works to minimise energy consumption and costs while keeping you comfortable.

Controlling your Infrared Panel

The Wondrwall Infrared Panel is operated through a Wondrwall Smart Relay, with heating control managed via the Heating Widget in the Wondrwall App. From there, you can:

• Let the system optimise your heating based on occupancy and energy pricing

FAQs

Will it feel the same as a normal radiator?
Not quite. Rather than warming the air, the panel gives you a sun-like warmth you feel directly. This can actually feel more comfortable, especially in rooms with high ceilings or frequent draughts.

Can I leave it on all the time?
You could, but it’s not the most efficient way to use it. We recommend using the Heating Widget to create a schedule or allow Wondrwall’s smart controls to activate it only when needed. Learn about the Heating Widget of the Wondrwall App by following this link

My Infrared Panel gets very hot, is this normal?
Yes. The surface of the Wondrwall Infrared Panel can reach up to 90 °C during operation. This is normal and part of how infrared heating works, it radiates heat directly to people and objects in the room. For safety purposes, please do not touch the panel or rest/hang anything on it. Keep the area around the panels clear.
