# How do I remove the front cover of the Wondrwall light switch?

## Removing the light switch front cover is needed to access the pairing button used for entering the switch into pairing mode.

### Palm Method

1. The clips of the front cover are located on each side of the light switch.
2. Place your palm on the front of the device and grip the middle of each side with your fingers, then pull the cover away from the wall.

Before removing the cover, check that it is correctly seated: it should be centred with no gap between the cover and the sensor guard beneath the logo.

### Card Method

1. Push the cover up to create a gap at the top on either side.
2. Insert a card into one of the gaps and run it down the side of the device to release the clips and remove the cover.

Make sure to have your spare hand over the cover when removing the clips to prevent the cover from falling to the floor and causing unnecessary damage.
