Removing the light switch front cover is needed to access the pairing button used for entering the switch into pairing mode.
Palm Method
- The clips of the front cover are located on each side of the Light Switch.
- Place your palm on the front of the device and use your fingers to pull away from the wall, gripping with your fingers in the middle of the side.
Make sure the face is on properly before attempting to remove it, it should be centred and there should not be a gap between it and the sensor guard under the logo.
Card Method
- Alternatively, you can push the cover-up to create a gap at the top on either side.
- Putting a card into one of the gaps and running it down the side of the device will also release the clips, removing the cover.
Make sure to have your spare hand over the cover when removing the clips to prevent the cover from falling to the floor and causing unnecessary damage.
