Welcome to this guide on how to integrate your Mixergy Hot Water Cylinder with the Wondrwall app. By linking your Mixergy device, you bring your hot water into the heart of your intelligent home setup, giving you full control over temperature, scheduling, and hot water demand (%) from a single app.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to get your Mixergy cylinder ready, connect it with Wondrwall, and start using it as part of your intelligent home system. Let’s get started.
Before You Start
To link your Mixergy device with the Wondrwall app, you’ll first need to set up your Mixergy Hot Water Cylinder using the Mixergy app.
Downloading the Mixergy App
The Mixergy app is available for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
If you already have a Mixergy account, skip ahead to Adding Your Mixergy Cylinder to the Wondrwall App.
When you open the app for the first time:-
Create a new Mixergy account

Follow the guided process to register your tank and configure initial settings
Registering Your Tank
As part of the Mixergy setup, you’ll be asked to provide the following information:
Mixdevice Code
The Mixdevice Code is a 25-character identifier unique to your cylinder. You can find it on the label attached to the tank.
It looks like: mixdevice-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
You can either enter it manually or scan the QR code label on your cylinder.
Automatic Schedule Control
This feature uses intelligent algorithms to optimise hot water schedules based on your usage patterns and energy pricing (if linked to a smart tariff).
You’ll be prompted to choose one of the following modes:

Off – No automation, full manual control

Standard (with Grid Assistance) – Balanced optimisation

Economy (with Grid Assistance) – Maximises savings
-
Grid Assistance Only – Manual control with demand-side response enabled
You can adjust this setting later under Tank Settings in the Mixergy app or at mixergy.io.
Heating Profile
Select your primary heat source:

Electric
-
Indirect (e.g. Gas Boiler)
-
Heat Pump
This setting can also be updated later if your heating setup changes.
Note: If you change your heat source (for example, switching from a gas boiler to a heat pump), update this setting in the Mixergy app to ensure your schedule and optimisation remain accurate.
Adding Your Mixergy Cylinder to the Wondrwall App
Once your Mixergy cylinder is set up, you can integrate it with Wondrwall:

From the Home screen, go to Settings by pressing the Cog icon or swiping to the Settings screen

Scroll down to the Integrations section and select Mixergy

Enter the Email and Password used for your Mixergy account

Once connected, the integration status will update to Active under the Mixergy section. If it does not show as Active within a few seconds, try refreshing the screen.
Next, return to the Home screen to add your device:

Press Add (+)

Select Add Device

Choose Hot Water Tank, then press Next

Select Mixergy, then press Next

Wondrwall will scan your Mixergy account for available cylinders

When your cylinder appears, select it

Add a name and location, then complete the setup
Using Hot Water in the Wondrwall App
Once connected, your Mixergy tank will appear in the Hot Water widget on the Home screen. The device card will display:

Current status (online/offline)

Hot water temperature
-
Hot water % available
-
Decrease (-) and Increase (+) buttons for hot water percentage

Schedule toggle (left/grey = OFF, right/blue = ON)
This allows you to dynamically manage how much hot water you need and when, whether manually or as part of your intelligent heating schedule.
