How to Alter the Temperature Offset for a Wondrwall Light Switch

Occasionally, light switches may provide temperature readings that differ from those on a room thermometer. This article outlines the correct procedure for calibrating them.

To calibrate the temperature on a Wondrwall light switch, open the information page for the switch, apply up to +/- 5°C of temperature adjustment, and verify accuracy using a separate reference thermometer placed undisturbed in the same room for at least one minute.

Select the specific light switch you want to adjust the temperature for.

Access Information Page:

  1. Look for the information icon (represented by an i inside a circle).
  2. Tap on this icon to access the information page for the selected light switch.

Reference Secondary Device:

  1. Use a secondary temperature monitoring device as a reference point.
  2. Place the secondary device in a suitable area within the same room or zone where the light switch is installed, away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.
  3. Allow the secondary device to stand undisturbed for about a minute before taking a temperature reading.

Caution

Avoid holding the secondary device during this process, as your body heat could affect its reading. By following these steps, you can calibrate your Wondrwall light switch accurately.
